A Portfolio of Brian Dillon's Work
In my freshman World Literature course, I learned to search for that which is higher than the ego. This pilgrimmage to discover my higher purpose is what this portfolio is all about. I am leaving behind my work for furture generations of Bumpians and internet surfers. Hopefully, they can learn from my writing, my mistakes, and the images that I have left behind.
Memories
Fall 2005
My classmates and I dance in front of the ghosts on the HRC windows. Behind Puja and Genevra (on the far right), a picture of Alice from Alice in Wonderland is etched into the glass.
Why go to class indoors when the "Most Romantic Spot on Campus" is so near? On this day, we held class near the Turtle Pond and discussed our connection with nature.
Ben, Rachel, Anush and I act out a scene from Alice in Wonderland. Instead of focusing on what a rediculous Alice I make, why don't you take a look at how cute the others look with their construction paper accessories.
Spring 2006
The gentlemen put on a show for the ladies during our evening class in the Union. Will, Dr. Bump, Ben, and Thomas turned into gargoyles, while I became Quasimodo, the hunchback of Notre Dame.
Elevators can really bring a class together. Notice Rachel's gleeful expression.
The guys in the class talk to a UT alumnus sitting outside the Texas-Exes building.
